BRANKSOME BEACH AT THE HOTEL & CATERING SHOW GALA DINNER

This year’s Gala Dinner was a special one for Branksome Beach as it featured both our current head Chef Lionel Sene, and former Head Chef and Professional Masterchef winner, Steve Groves.

 

The superb meal, complimented by wines chosen to match each course, began with Steve’s starter of smoked salmon with nettle soup, which was a sensation of colour and taste. The main course of filet of beef was prepared by the Head Chef of the Highcliffe Marriot and the meal was rounded off perfectly by whilst Lionel’s Italian meringue with honey ice cream.

 

Steve was delighted to be reunited with Lionel for the dinner and expressed his fondness for the south coast and for Branksome Beach in particular, where he has so many happy memories.
